So, Brighton Bloggers Bash looks like it could happen- I’m negotiating with two venues as I type and I have a rough idea for the date. But I need some input. I really would like to know what it is you want such an event to offer you. It’d be great if you could answer the following questions, either in the comments or by emailing your answers to brightonbloggersbash@gmail.com or by tweeting @BtonBloggerBash
So far, the idea is this:
- to offer bloggers the opportunity to meet up and network (or just plain put names to faces!) There will be activities and prizes on offer too!
- to have a talk and discussion about bloggers in the South East and where this could lead in the future. If you’d like to lead a discussion or give a talk, let me know!
- there will probably be some charge for tickets, to cover costs and (I hope) to raise a little bit of money for charity.
- to eat cake and just have a good old time.
I’m looking at dates in June.
What I’d like to know are answers to the following questions:
1) What would you like Brighton Bloggers Bash to offer?
2) How could we make networking fun?
3) What day/time would you prefer? (Please be aware that weekends may be difficult/incur a higher ticket fee)
4) How much would you be willing to pay for a ticket?
5) Would you nominate a charity to receive a small donation from sales of the tickets?
6) What activities could be offered?
7) What type of venue do you think would work for this sort of event?
8) Any other comments?
I know it’s impossible to please all of the people, all of the time, but I’d like to at least have a go! Please let me know your answers!
